For Cora

First of all, thank you SO much for the overwhelming response to Momtog!  I appreciate all the comments and emails more than I can express.  This is a project I’ve been thinking about for some time and I’m so excited to see if come to life!  This blog is going to be great because of YOU!  Remember, I want this blog to be a dialogue so if there’s anything you want to see here, a product you want featured, a photographer or an awesome mom you want to see interviewed email me and we’ll make it happen!  Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Onto today’s topic!  I first learned about little Cora Paige through my friend Julie’s blog.  Cora was diagnosed with cancer in January and sadly lost her battle this past weekend.  Cora was less than a month younger than my Brayden and I just can’t imagine what her parents are going through right now.  It’s heartbreaking.

You may remember these headbands from Julie’s family shoot I did last month.

I got a lot of emails asking where you can buy them.  Well, Julie, being as generous and talented as she is, is donating all of the proceeds from her messy flowers and headbands to Cora’s playground fund.  How awesome is that?  I was lucky enough to get one of the original Cora Paige messy flowers and I will hang it on my bulletin board in my office when I receive it.  Stop by her shop and purchase one for yourself while you can!  There are only a few left, but Julie has organized a site where you can see all the products that are for sale for Cora’s playground.  Click here to start shopping!
