Bloom Workshops
I fell in love with Brenda Acuncius’ photography from the moment I saw her blog. She has two of the cutest kiddos that she uses as her models and I love her fresh approach to children’s photography. Another thing that I love about her photography is the “fake studio” that she uses. It’s similar to my set up except I think hers may be a little more professional than mine (ie she actually uses real backdrops and hangs them on something other than her dining room chairs). I know so many of you were interested in my setup so I had to share Brenda’s workshop information with you. The Bloom Workshop is a 4 week online workshop (forum style) where Brenda and fellow photographer Kristy Lane cover processing and editing, shooting in a photojournalistic style, seeing the light, AND Brenda’s fake studio set up among other things. This workshop is geared towards those who are familiar with their cameras, but who are not professional photographers yet. The next workshop starting in April is already filled so you must stay tuned to their website to get your name on the list for the next workshop. I know this workshop is perfect for a lot of my Mom*tog readers so don’t miss out! I will also be doing an interview with Brenda very soon! Yeah!
