My Favorite…
I love watching Brayden sleep. He’s so peaceful and content. I love hearing him breathe. And watching his little tummy move up and down. I love how he gets lines and creases on the side of his face from sleeping so hard. And his hair curls up from sweat. I love his pj’s and how cute he looks in them. Sometimes I will peak into his room to watch him for a minute.

Shot at 2.2, 1/400, ISO 400.
I’m not a big texture girl, but I tried out Brenda’s textures and I’m totally digging them! I used Thunder Canvas on this one and I love the subtle weathered look to it.

I love watching my daughter, Ella sleep too. I’ve been wanting to get a picture of her curled up with her bottom in the air, but I’m afraid the clicking of the camera will wake her:)
I love how you composed this picture – with the door and all – looks just like what youwrote…and I’m with ya – nothing like a sweet baby sleeping!!!

I just wanted to say how much I love the concept of the Momtog website. As a mom with a camera, I really appreciate all the teaching info. I love the picture in this post. I’m wondering – do you always/sometimes/never shoot in Raw format? Or – sort of related – how did you get your son to sleep so well in such a bright room?! Thanks!!
I absolutely love this picture…so peaceful and serene!

I love the door in the composition. I have longed to do this since the day my baby was born. However, he is SUCH A LIGHT SLEEPER!! He wakes up so easily that I know even a camera click or probably just the door opening would wake him. Those precious sleeping minutes are so golden that I haven’t yet dared to try. I would probably not even end up capturing the “peaceful sleeping of a baby” but the “crying of the prematurely awakened!”

oh he is so cute. I have an 8 month old and he looks like an angel when he sleeps. Someone should set up a site of just sleeping baby photos. So adorable!

I love your photos & I appreciate your tips (& camera settings) so much! I just got the 50mm (1.8) & I took a beautiful photo of my daughter (f-stop was in the 2′s) & from her nose down she’s blurry! Ugh! More learning & practice.
Good luck w/ your house search – I had to do it w/ 3 little ones! Our house showed 32 times in 2 weeks! It’s not easy!
