I'm ready to upgrade my computer and was thinking of getting the macbook pro but I think I need to do some research. My question to you is what kind of RAM did you have on your macbook pro? I've been told that I could get enough power to run all my photography software if I uped this to the max. What are your thoughts on that? I like the idea of having a laptop to present to my clients in the privacy of thier home. Thanks for the advice. I hate earthquakes too and like you have experienced all the major ones here in california! I really want the 50mm 1.2 - saving money to get it someday. My D300 just got delivered to me last night and I'm LOVING it! I have an engagement session coming up in a couple of days and can't wait to use it. I'm sure it's going to make post processing go by a little faster. Also, I would love to upgrade my Mac but the funds don't allow it right as much as I would love to drain my account for it. My oldest daughter just had major dental work done and that alone could pay for a mortgage! ha! Anyway, thanks for confirming my major purchase. P.S ever thought of moving to B.C?!
