Maternity Pictures
I love maternity pictures. I especially love the session I just posted on my blog.
Did you / will you take professional maternity pictures? I did and I’m so happy I did. I thought I was HUGE when I took my maternity pictures and didn’t see how I could possibly get any bigger, but I did! I was so ready to rush through my pregnancy and be done with it. I’m happy now to have those pictures to look back on and remember it all again. If I would have known who was inside of me I may have enjoyed it a little more 
Plus, it was fun to get glammed up and feel pretty for a day! Because Lord knows I was not feeling too pretty back in those days!

I got maternity pics with my second and third pregnancies. I was so sad that I didn’t have them from the first. I love maternity photos. I know it is hard to see it when you are pregnant, but I don’t know that their is anything as beautiful as the pregnant body. Of course, you shots are amazing – the ones you took and the ones of you.

Oh my goodness, those are beautiful! I wish I had done “professional” ones, I just set up my camera for my mom and had her and my husband take some. I may have been more likely to do it if I looked as good as you or your subject! The extra 50 lbs didn’t look quite as good on me.

I didn’t do maternity shots and I regret it. At the time I didn’t think I would care to remember how huge I was so I just have a few snapshots. My co-worker took monthly pictures of me and made a scrapbook. That is all I have to look back on. If I were to do it again, I’d would want to capture it professionally.
I love the “bump” picture. I would want to steal that idea too:)
Where did you find those fabulous circle balloons? I have been looking for some for my daughter’s first birthday party and can’t find them anywhere???

Yea I wish I could duplicate that baby bump photo =) When I have kids I def. want some maternity photos done! I think there is something so beautiful about pregnant mommies. I love everything about pregnancies [probably because I've never been hehe]and birth, I guess thats why I love my job as a L&D nurse! You did great on this session as always!!!

Hi there. I have become a HUGE fan of your work. I look at your blog all the time to see what new advice you have posted. I am a momtog myself, and doing my best to be a professional photog! I am a Canon user so all your advice fits in with any question I could have. I am using a Rebel at the moment but want desperatly to get a 50d. You are right about the third party lenses… I SOOO wish I hadn’t gone that route! Oh well, live and learn I guess.
Thanks for sharing all your advice. I love it when other pro photogs will share their knowledge. I learn something knew everytime I’m on here.

Drew, your prego pics were beautiful! Truly breathtaking! So fun! Can you believe, little B is not quite so little anymore?
I got maternity pictures done and am so happy I did. We went to a studio though and I hated that part of it. Some of the pictures look a little to posed but it was the only way I could get my hubby to agree. Next time, we aren’t going to a studio. I love your ‘bump’ picture. Adorable!

Girl, you looked GORGEOUS! I loved these pictures then and I love them now! I did schedule to have maternity pictures done when I was preggy, but it got cancelled due to rain while we were on the way! UGH! We never ended up getting any done
