Happy 18th Month Birthday Brayden!
At 3:31 today my baby will officially be closer to two years old than one year old! Wow! That’s crazy talk. It’s absolutely mind boggling to think that just a year and a half ago Brayden was a teeny, tiny little baby. Now he can walk, run, talk, and has his own funny little personality. Let’s see. Here are some fun things that Brayden did this past month:
- He can fake sneeze and yawn.
- He learned how to jump off the ground and says a word that kind of sounds like jump.
- He has this funny little sound for “thank you”. We are constantly working on “please”, but it just ain’t happening. It’s just “More, more, MORE!”
- He absolutely loves playing with his brother, Hauggy. He likes to throw balls to him and say “Go, go!”.
- His new animal sound is a monkey.
- He loves to read books by himself. He has very little patience when being read to and just likes to look at the pictures and flip the pages.
- He FINALLY started sleeping through the night again (Thank God!) and is even sleeping past 7am (knock on wood!)
- Daddy usually does the bedtime routine, but he’s been wanting me to put him to bed more often. How can I say no to cuddle time with my baby boy?
- He actually tells us when he wants to go “nigh nigh”. Although “nigh nigh” sometimes means snuggle or play time in our bed. Not necessarily sleep.
- He is still obsessed with the movie Madagascar and calls it “Ga Ca”. Whenever he sees a CD or DVD (because there are lots in my office!) he says “Ga ca? Ga ca? Ga ca?” until I go and put in the real Ga Ca for him.
That’s just about all I can think of! Happy year and a half birthday, my B Boy! I love you forever, and ever, and ever, and ever!

Hey!!! I have an 18 month old too and they are soooo much fun (until the tantrums come out…lol just kidding)!!! it is amazing to see that they are soooo much alike! I absolutely enjoy every moment of him because they grow sooo fast…i was just saying to a friend, I feel like i just had him yesterday and now he is almost two!!!…by the way, i love,love,love your work and i am officially a “blog-stalker”..lol

Time flies, doesn’t it? My baby will be 2 in December. I can’t believe it. This age is so much though.

He’s so adorable! I’m loving the monthly updates, it’s such a great thing. We need to see some pics of him and his bro. It’s been a while since I’ve seen Hauggy! Happy 18 Months B!
I must say, I am pretty impressed with your new toy. That G10 takes some pretty darn good pictures. Brayden is co cute with his bedhead going on here. Happy year and a half!
I’m going to sound like a total blogstalker but I remember when you had your maternity photos done and was worried about going into labor while photographing weddings, it doesn’t seems that long ago! I know it doesn’t seem like 5 months ago I had my little one either! time needs to slow down!
