Who Needs Toys?

Sometimes the best toys aren’t toys at all. A callender from the dollar aisle at Target and price sticker can entertain for as long as a toys that cost 30 times as much!

I often wonder why we buy toys at all!
So true! My baby can play with the junk mail for up to 30 minutes! At least there is a use for it.
My son’s favorite toy when he was little, and he still uses it 4 years later, was my mini pastry roller, it was one with a roller part on each side. He found it in my kitchen drawer and at the end of the night I would put it back, and the next day he would have it again. Eventually it just became his.

My nephew plays with those things too! Ha ha. So funny how the most random things become toys.

Very CUTE…B is just a sweetie. I just LOVE how you get the BEST photos of your little Mr. However the most recent FAV of mine is the Nana (banana) pic’s.
Momtog ROCKS!
Hi there! I just love your website and wanted to thank you for taking the time to help us “momtogs” out here. I’ve learned so much from your site and others, just in the last six months! I wish I had more time to read your tips.
I also wanted to tell you that my daughter (18 months) just got over Roseola, too! I wonder if it’s going around right now? It was NOT fun. She didn’t eat for about three days, and she’s only in the 5th percentile anyway. I did enjoy the snuggle time with her, but wish she hadn’t felt so yucky. Hope your little guy gets better soon.
I remember when my daughter was a baby and how her grandpa got an empty water bottle and put raw beans in it to make a shaker. It entertained her for hours!!!! I love the simple things in life that they always seem find and enjoy!
