Happy 20 Month Birthday, Brayden!
Dear Brayden,
This month you’ve learned to much I can hardly keep up with you. You’re talking up a storm and repeat everything we ask you to say. You’re a true boy and love playing with your cars and trains. My favorite is when you get down on your stomach and push your cars around. You have such an imagination. It’s so fun to watch. Some of my favorite things you’ve learned to do this month:
- Put your finger up to your mouth and say “Hmmmmm” like you’re trying to make a decision. You like to do this in the pantry while looking for food.
- Pinch your nose when something is stinky.
- Put your hands up to your mouth when you want to yell. Your favorite thing to yell is “DADA!”. Usually in places like Target when Daddy isn’t even there.
One bad thing you’ve learned to do this month is to climb out of your crib. Well, you’ve known how to climb out of your crib for awhile. But, now you do it all the time. Every night to be exact. This has led to two weeks of sleepless nights for us. Not cool.
Not sure why we rewarded this behavior, but we bought you a Thomas train table. All you talk about is Choo Choos so we thought you would love it. And you do, but you get so frustrated when the trains go off the tracks. I think you are going to be a stubborn little perfectionist. Hmmmm, I wonder where you get that from? You got Daddy’s looks, but Mommy’s personality it seems. I apologize 
But, my most favorite times with you are still our snuggle times. When you hold my hand and give me big smoochies. When you say “I love you” by blowing me kisses. When you hug Daddy with one arm and me with the other and giggle as we give you kisses on the cheeks. I love your sweet voice. When you say, “Mama” it melts my heart and I love the way you say “Byeeeeeeeeee!”. You are growing up way too fast. I’m doing my best to slow down and take in every second of you being so little and needing me.
I love you, my B. Daddy and I are so proud of you for the little man you are growing up to be. Can’t wait to see what next month bring.

Our babies share a birthday of sorts. My boy turns 18months today. Happy 20 month!

Not cool.”…this cracks me up sooo much! i remember when i was staying with a friend for a while and her son (my godson) kept gettin out of his crib and coming to me…i was SOOOOO tired and that lil crazy dude, he must have been dreaming of some goodies in my purse or something.lol

Love the Thomas table!! G is getting a table from Santa this year and I have to decide what kind to get him. I don’t really like Thomas, he bugs me but I may have to go for it!
Dude. Suffer no more. Buy this crib tent. Sleep will be restored.
