I’m Okay!

B wanted to let everyone know that he’s okay!  No permanent damage :)  You can just see a little bump on the left side of his forehead.  It actually looks worse in person, but it’s a big improvement from the night it happened!

Canon 5D, 50 1.2

f2.0, 1/320, ISO 250

I’m still Formspringing.  Come on over!

Oh so glad. Docs have always told me that an outward bump is always better than an inward one. Sometimes they leave black eyes as the blood drains…don’t be surprised! Take care!

  3. I’m sure you already know this, but your little boy is precious! This picture is especially cute. On another note, I know how it feels to see a huge knot on my child’s head. Just this morning I was taking a bath and was interrupted by a loud thump and a blood curdling scream. I jumped out thinking my daughter had broken a bone or something and she had fallen straight off the couch onto the hardwood floor and landed mouth down. She now has a huge swollen lip, but nothing is broken and no loose teeth, thank goodness!

Glad he’s doing well!! When our little girl got her first bump like that…I tried to make myself feel better by saying that it probably wouldn’t be her last! Bless their little hearts!

Awwww…poor Brayden! He will not be a boy without the bumps and the bruises! Off topic, but I wanted to know how you got that yummmy light! I noticed alot of these pictures were taken indoors? If so, the light in your house is incredible! Would you mind sharing what direction your house and this particular window sits (East, West, North or South)?

It is amazing how big the “eggs” can get when they get the bumps. After the first 2 times it happened, I realized that this was going to be a new part of my life. So when it happened the 3rd time, I had my camera ready to take a picture. My husband couldn’t believe it but I wanted to show my son in the future. I am glad to hear that you little guy is better…. Boys grow our hearts in ways we never could have expected.
