I’ve gotten a few emails recently asking about me and how I got started in photography. Â It’s not a very exciting story and I really don’t like writing about myself. Â I can write about a lot of things, but when it comes to myself I get writers block. Â Because I’m pretty boring. Â So, I’m jumping on the bandwagon and opening up a Formspring account. Â You can go there and ask whatever you’d like. Â Want to know what my major was? Â Where I went to school (you should ALL know that!)? Â What it was like to work at MTV? Â What my training in photography is? Â Why I want to be best friends with Britney Spears? Â Go on over and ask a question and I’ll do my best to answer them.
I’m warning you. Â It will probably be boring though. Â Because, like I said, I’m pretty boring.
On another note, we had our first traumatic injury yesterday. Â B ran into the side of the door and ended up with this (taken with my iphone).
I didn’t think it was going to be that bad. Â He runs into things all the time. Â But, when Chuck told me not to look I knew it was bad. Â I almost threw up when I saw it. Â It scared the crap out of me. Â How am I going to deal with having a crazy boy and all the injuries that come with it? Â If I couldn’t stomach a knot on the head how I am going to deal with blood and (knock on wood) broken bones. Â Ugh. Â This is the part of being a mom that I do not enjoy.

Poor you! I don’t think you ever get used to that part of mommying!

Ouch! If I posted all the pictures of Carson with bumps like that I would probably get report, my son had the bigggest head. Hope you and him are doing better today.
Oh ouch! That does look painful.. but you know it is my daughter that ends up with the big bumps and bruises more than my son… so I think it is just inevitable.

Poor guy. I know what you mean I have 2 CRAZY boys. They worry me all the time, but they don’t even seem affected by bumps and bruises. It is just part of their world I guess.

I thought the same thing when Colin got his first bump. My husband reassured me he was a boy and there’d be many more to come. While we haven’t had many, I will say they get slightly easier to handle – probably because Colin is getting tougher!
I am with you. I am just waiting for my son to have his first broken bone. I will pass out. I am sure of it. He has already fallen down a flight of stairs at the age of 18 months old and stitches over they left eye when he was 4 years old. It is not fun. Good luck!
Don’t worry about your little man, boys just come born that way
My now 2yr old has already had stitches and very scary experience of burning both his feet when he started walking- so scary as a mommy and you feel so helpless – but there is nothing you can do to keep them safe 24/7. People stare if you keep them in a bubble
He is going to be okay and so are you. Thanks for sharing your life. HUGS!
