Hey! Jacksonville!

We’re leaving for our big Florida adventure later this week and I’ve been meaning to do some research on fun things to do in Jacksonville for Brayden and I while Chuck is in his conference.  But, I’ve been to busy so I am turning to you, my Internet friends.  Anything fun for us to do?

And, Floridians, can you please tell your state to warm up for me by the end of the week!  I’m not liking these cold temperatures I’m seeing!  Really, as long as it doesn’t rain on Saturday or Sunday I’m happy, but if you could try and warm it up to like 75 that would be awesome!

Go to the Jacksonville Zoo! There is a train that takes you around the entire Zoo! :) Lots of fun! We vacation in St. Augustine (just south of Jacksonville) every year and we always stop there on the way. It never gets old!!!!

GET OUT!!! I just figured you all were going to Orlando. Seems like anyone who comes to Florida is going to Disney. I live here in Jacksonville! The zoo is great. If you are looking for shopping, the St. John’s Town Center is good. They also have a little train that drives you around the shopping center. It’s a really nice outdoor shopping center. What area of town are you staying in? There’s a little spot called 5 points which is nice. Great little community there. I have lots of ideas for you! If you want, you can email me and I can give you some ideas. It would be fun to meet you in person, too.

i KNOW, why is it still so freezing cold here! and that dumb freeze we had turned all of my backdrops brown and dead! It’s not supposed to be like that in florida. Today is nice though, I hope you’re enjoying it before the cold hits again.

You MUST go to the Jacksonville Zoo. It’s beyond amazing, even for adults! All the animals are divided up by continent. There are so many things to see and do (including a train ride around the place… which I know B would love).

Definitely go see the zoo. You can head to St.John’s Town Center for some good shopping. Atlantic Beach, Jacksonville Beach, and Neptune Beach are nice. If you want to drive about 30 mins south of Jacksonville St.Augustine, FL is the oldest city in the U.S. and downtown is fun. There is also an old Spanish fort you can tour

Ooooh! I live in Jax. There is the zoo and St. Augustine is a very cool place to see as well.
