Twinsies
This morning I watched Brayden’s BFF, Dakota, for a couple of hours while her mom ran to the dentist. Brayden is one day older than Dakota and when they were babies they looked so much alike. White hair, big blue eyes, and pale skin. So, they are practically twins. Except they were born to different parents. A day apart. And they aren’t related at all. So, I guess they are nothing like twins. But, whatever. You get my point.
This was my first time watching two 2 year olds by myself. I got a little dose of what it would be like to have two kids. Brayden got put in time out 3 times in the first 45 minutes because he didn’t want to share his toys (you see how carefully he’s watching Dakota’s every move in the picture above?). After that they had a lot of fun. Dakota was a doll. I really want a girl. But, what if I end up with another crazy boy like Brayden? Scary!

Drew, you’re the best!! Seriously, you are awesome! Thank you SO much for wathing Dakota for me. I knew she would have a blast over there, and it was only obvious when she threw a HUGE fit as we left. She didn’t stop crying until we were 1/2 way home. She kept saying “Drewwwww, mommy, I wand DREWWWWW!!” I think I might just be sending her your way more often, haha, totally kidding! Oh, and thank you SO very much for the painting. I can’t wait to show Kevin. You’re the best BFF mommy ever! Tell Brayden sorry about all the time-outs

Where did you get that crib?! I am looking for one just like that right now. It is adorable!
Earlier this week I also watched a little boy who is only two and a half weeks older than mine (both are 15 months)…craziness! I don’t know how moms of twins do it! My daughter, Evelyn, was definitely territorial over all of her toys too haha! But it was nice for her to have a little playmate:)
They have the crib at Babies R Us. We had ours custom painted to look distressed.
I am LOVING the art hanging above the crib! Ah!
