Hunting For a Tree

I love Christmas this year.  Well, I always love Christmas.  But, this year is particularly fun because Brayden is so excited and enthusiastic about everything.

We get a fresh tree every year.  From a real Christmas tree farm.  We drive past the Christmas tree farm several times a week and I always ask Brayden to look out the window and pick out his tree.  He was so excited to actually go and get to pick out his very own tree.

If you read the post about Brayden’s pumpkin you will laugh at this picture.  He saw this little tree and said, “Aw, he’s so cute!”.  But, we convinced him that this little guy had to keep growing and maybe he could be our tree next year.

His favorite part was playing hide and go seek in the trees.

The magic ticket!

He didn’t quite understand why we couldn’t take it home that day.  But, the boy has a lot of persistence and we ended up picking it up early because he would not stop talking about decorating the tree!

Wish I would have had my camera when we picked it up because he thought it was the funniest thing that there was a tree on the roof of our car!

He’s so cute. My 3 boys are super excited this year too, especially the 3 & 5 year old! I love the holidays even more watching everything through the eyes of my kids. :) Merry Christmas!

I love the one of him playing peek-a-boo! That’d make a great Christmas card

Can I please come over and just smell your tree. Oh, how I miss the days of the bright green, beautiful tree farm trees.
If only my biggest girl wasn’t so allergic, or if I was cool with her being constantly dosed up on Claritin for the month, we would still have one.
Maybe one day of Claritin and a trip to the tree farm, just to pretend.
