Making of a Memory

Take a normal Monday trip to Disneyland.

Throw in a huge freak rainstorm with no umbrellas or proper rain gear and a child who apparently hates ponchos.

Make a mad dash for the monorail and get soaking wet. Make said child who is wet, cold, and miserable pose for a picture.

And you’ve got yourself an unforgettable trip to Disneyland.

*** All pictures taken with the Canon G10.  I thought about taking my DSLR and thank goodness I didn’t because it would have gotten soaked!

What are some fun memories that you have captured on camera?  Post them over on Real Mom*togs!

OMG, I was there that day too!!! It was totally awful and my 2.5 year old hates ponchos too. 🙂 Totally know how this feels!

  2. I tried registering for the real momtogs site, but I keep getting an error that says only lower case letters and numbers are allowed (and I’m definitely using only lowercase letters). Is there a glitch or am I missing something here? 🙂

what a day, but you’ve got the perfect outlook, its MEMORIES! Who could hate a poncho but a 2 year old…they make sense & are sold by the dozen on splash rides! Oh well, sometimes the pictures aren’t “pretty” but the memory lasts and makes us laugh…good times

Awww! You made sure to make great memories though! He’ll be able to laugh at them one day… 🙂

Side note: my daughter was just looking at this post with me, wanting to know what the little boy’s name was, etc., and then she pointed at you and said, “Oh look! What a beautiful girl!” The very best compliments come from our little truth-tellers, don’t they? 🙂
