Insta-Fun!
I’m not one to jump on the new, cool social networking sites. I didn’t join Twitter until 2009. I clung to Myspace until all of my friends finally left for Facebook. I didn’t even make a Mom*tog Facebook page until a year ago. If you send me an invite for Linkedin it goes right in the trash. And, don’t even get me started on Google+. I have no time to figure out how that one works!
When my friend Julie told me I needed to start using Instagram I was like, thanks but no thanks. Don’t have time for another social networking site. Then she told me, “It’s like Hipstamatic and Twitter got married and had a super cute baby”. That peaked my interest a bit. I had intentions of trying it on while on vacay, but I opted for a tech free trip leaving my iphone in the hotel room as much as possible. But, I’ve started using it since I got home and I’m loving it. It’s a fun way to share pictures of my everyday life without having to bore everyone on Twitter. It seems like a lot of my old twitter friends feel the same way and have started to use it more and more. It’s fun and it really is like Twitter and Hipstamatic got married and had a baby!

I heart Instagram. But I’m sure that people are getting really tired of seeing photos of my food on there. And really, we need to go to Cafe Rio.
