When I choose Brayden’s name, I knew I wanted him to be a Brayden. Not a Brady. Nothing wrong with Brady. I just liked how Brayden sounded.
I have a lot of nicknames for Brayden. B. Bug. Boogie. French Fry. And sometimes I have caught myself calling him Brady. But, he’s never liked that. He’s always told me not to call him Brady.
Yesterday morning, when he came to wake me up in bed, I said, “Good morning, Brayden!”. He said, “My name is Brady now, Mama.”. I’ve heard his little friends at school call him Brady so I’m guessing that’s why he’s decided that he’s no longer Brayden. It made me laugh so hard. Love what an independent little guy he’s growing up to be.

Ha! I am the same way about my Braeden – call him “Brady” and the mama bear comes out a’ fighting!
He is just so stink in cute Drew! The countdown is on for sweet baby girl too! Thinking of you dear lady

Oh I love Brady’s! But I do remember before we had our Braden I didn’t want him called Brady, but it just fit him better after he was born. Besides when he’s in trouble its a lot more scary when I say Braden!!! Oh and PS Brady woke up the other day and told me he wanted to be called Tom. Hahaha
