LOLing

Chuck and I can get Kennedy to laugh. But, the only one who can really get Kennedy to giggle is her big brother. I had been waiting for that giggle. The giggle that only an older sibling can get from their baby sibling. Up until a few weeks ago she has only been cautiously watching Brayden. Making sure he’s not going to kick her in the eye or step on her hand. We think he’s a pretty funny kid. We laugh at him with him a lot. So, I knew it was only a matter of time before she would realize that he’s a funny guy. All it took was Brayden running in circles. That got her giggle going. And made my heart so happy.
Made Our List. Checked It Twice.
We’ve decked our halls.
And our baby.
Made our lists.
(Even drew rainbows for Santa. Because there are no rainbows in the North Pole. Duh.)
Mailed our lists.
Went to see the Big Guy in real life.
Our presents are wrapped. Stockings hung by the chimney with care. And now we are just waiting for SANTA to get here!
Can’t wait! Hope your day is nothing less than magical!
Magic
There’s really nothing cooler than seeing snow for the first time. Technically, this was his second time seeing snow. The first time he was almost two and terrified of it. Absolutely terrified. This time he stayed outside for all of 30 seconds before realizing it was freezing and then went right back inside. Such an Orange County boy. Those 30 seconds were pure magic though.

F 2.8, 1/800, ISO 640 (my settings were a little whack because a) I have no idea how to shoot in snow b) I was scrambling because I knew he wouldn’t stay outside for long and c) my fingers were FREEZING!).
