So true isn’t it … about the simple moments. I just got back from the ER with one of our youngests (hence the 2am response
) & I can tell you, those middle things sure don’t matter. Being able to take a phone shot & send it to daddy to let him know we were doing okay while he held down the fort at home, that mattered. Like you said, Drew, making the simple moments beautiful & fun … & letting those you love know that you love them … and it will all be okay.

Thank you for posting this. I received a wonderful DSLR for Christmas and I am currently taking an online course to learn how to shoot in manual. I’m having a hard time and I’ve been frustrated and thinking that I’ll never get good enough. But…good enough for what? I just want to take photos of my kiddos and our life together. This post helped me let go of some of the pressure. Thanks.
