Dinosaur Bones

Poor Brayden was so disappointed there weren’t any real dinosaurs at the dinosaur museum.  Just bones.  And bones are boring.  Apparently.

This picture is awesome with your son looking at the “boring” bones. :)

A neat thing that my kindergarten teacher did was have the moms bring in steak bones and chicken bones that had been cleaned (I think they boiled them…I know, boiled bones sounds gross!) Then they buried them in the sandbox and the kids went on an excavation for dinosaur bones. We had to go in front of the class and say which dinosaur we thought our bone belonged to. I’m 31 now and still remember this activity, so I’d say it was a good one! Might be fun for B and a few friends to do. Much more exciting than just looking at them in a museum :)

Ditto love the shot too, that museum looks awesome. My Husband said he had the same disappointing experience when he was little , I was like really and you were exited to go see them, not scared? Boys are funny…

How do you get the shots of your kids? Are they just used to you shooting them or do you try to sneak in shots? Mine don’t like to cooperate.
