This boy makes me very tired. Very tired. He is a constant ball of energy. He is a bit demanding for such a little person. He sings. A lot. And dances. He has a wild imagination. He doesn’t sit still for very long. There are parades to put on. Songs to sing. Dances to choreograph. Stuffed animals to preform complicated medical procedures on. Coloring books to color just right. And it can all be a bit… exhausting.
But, through the exhaustion I’m so thankful for his perspective on life. His simple answers to complicated questions. His wide eyed wonderment of the world. His constant curiosity. Isn’t it amazing to see the world through the eyes of a child?
