Girl Talk
Holy cow. The flood gates have opened and Kennedy is talking. Non-stop! Whatever she has to say must be very important because she likes to shout it. It’s mostly just baby babble, but this weekend Chuck and I swear we heard her say two real words.
The first… pancake.

She was really excited to be eating pancakes for the first time. Really, she’s excited to be eating any real food. She’s been eyeing real food for a few months now.

Later that day she yelled “Mickey Mouse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” as she grabbed her Mickey stuffed animal that her brother gave her. Luckily, I had my camera close by. This reminds me so much of Brayden. He LOVED Mickey Mouse. Actually, he still loves Mickey Mouse.

And just to reminisce, here’s Brayden with Mickey. Probably around 18 months here

She’s so cute. I love that gummy smile with just a few teeth! Adorable.
I only have one child, but a lot of my friends have said their second talked and walked a lot earlier than their first. Maybe it’s because they have an older sibling to catch up with!

So cute! We bought that same Mickey Mouse for my daughter. We went to Disney World just days after I found out I was pregnant and that was the first thing we bought for our baby. Makes me smile.
She just keeps getting cuter! That’s great that she is starting to talk so soon.
Oh Drew, that second photo of Kennedy is so precious!. Love it !. I remember how messy meal times are with little ones…. x
Oh my goodness I feel like your sweet girl has grown up SO much! I haven’t been on the blog in awhile since having my 3rd (baby Tenley, remember we emailed a time or two about girl names? Well, we decided on Tenley!) anyway, I LOVE these pictures…now I am going to check out what else I’ve missed here on your blog
I think I love your home photos more than your client photos (don’t get me wrong the others are awesome). You have such a great perspective on your own kids. I have noticed I get stuck in a rut & constantly take very similar pictures. Something to work on I guess.
Drew, your children are so adorable! I love seeing all of your pictures of them! I also love Kennedy’s pjs…would you be willing to share where you found them?
Thanks, Abbie! Old Navy I believe, but I bought them awhile ago!
