31 Days of Brayden
How are you doing on your 365 projects? I almost made it the first 31 days. I completed 30 of 31. I wasn’t with him all day on one of the days. I could have cheated, but I decided to keep it real.
I find it so much harder to photograph Brayden than Kennedy. Kennedy was easy. She was always doing something new. There were so many firsts with her. And she’s so darn cute. Brayden is cute. Don’t get me wrong. But, he’s an almost 5 year old boy and it’s different.
I love this project so much because it’s so challenging. It’s challenging to take good pictures with my iPhone. It’s challenging to make the most out of the lighting. It’s challenging to get creative and not just take snapshots.
If you start to get burnt out keep your eye on the prize and keep going. It’s so worth it for that look back into an entire year with your kids!

I just posted my “31 days of Tenley” this morning! (I totally don’t have a clue about making a collage) but, I have to admit… I am having to work at keeping this up…it is not easy!

I try to take a quick photo of my now 4.5 month old every day. Some days, I can’t get him to smile so we live with a very grouchy snapshot, but it’s fun to look back and see how much he changes! It’s hard taking a daily pic even if it’s a quick shot!

I totally ran out of steam with my Project 365 so have done a Project 52 this year instead – one photo a week seems much more doable. I admire those of you that stick with a 365!
