JOBY UltraFit Sling Strap Giveaway & Review – Sponsored Post
When I’m out and about with my camera and not shooting I always wear it across my body over one shoulder. This works well until I bend over to help my kids with something and, BAM, they get a camera straight to the forehead. I really thought I was the only person who had this problem, but apparently I’m not because the people at JOBY invented a camera strap that prevents this from happening. And not only that, it’s also ergonimically designed specifically for women and our curves. The JOBY UltraFit Sling Strap is designed for speed and comfort. Your camera is always at hand, but you have the comfort of being hands free until you need it.
And having your hands free is important when chasing after a 17 month old and an almost 5 year old. I took the strap on a little test drive on a walk around our neighborhood. Guess what? No one got a camera to the forehead!
I love how it allows the camera to be moved out of the way when I don’t need it (like when I have to carry a screaming and flailing baby home), but it’s right there when I need it. My camera feels really secure and hugs my body.
*** Sorry for the crappy iPhone pics, but I wanted to show how the strap hugs your body.
This is one of those things that I never knew I needed until I tried it. Now it won’t leave my camera.
I only have two complaints. First, I wish I would have had this strap when shooting weddings. I can only imagine my neck would have thanked me profously. Second, I would love to have this camera strap in something other than black. There are so many camera straps with cute colors and modern fabrics. It would be nice if JOBY would incorporate some feminine style into their straps, don’t you think?

What a wonderful solution to my camera bonking my little ones on the head. Eek! I agree about the girlie option!
Just liked them on Facebook. Thanks!

I could totally use something that we would prevent me from smacking my two year old son in the head every time he wants me to pick him up.
This strap sounds amaizng! Not hitting my little one in the head with the camera would be a huge benefit she and I would love!
I have a hard enough time juggling the baby with a camera, lol. It would be amazing to have one of these!
PERFECT timing since i just updated my camera body and would love a new strap that will prevent my kiddos from getting concussions. now going to like joby!

I’ve always wondered if there was a strap that prevented us from hitting our kids on the forehead. I love carrying my camera, but I’ve had to put it in my purse more often because my kids were complaining of me hitting them. I would love to win!
i just got a heavier camera and am finally using the camera strap. but i’m not liking it for the camera-to-the-forehead reasons and this would be great to try!

OMG! I just clicked into this blog for the first time and I LOVE it! I was scrolling through the pictures and I quickly noticed that great strap! As a mom to 5 children 5 and under (we are fostering 1 of them) I am consistently tempted to leave my camera in the case because ,to be honest, it feels like my 6th child!!! And I really feel like I have my hands full. That strap looks amazing!! Perfect for a mom! Thank you so much for sharing it!
Need one for the a fore mention reason, to protect my lil ones head.

What happens when you bend over with this strap on? Does it still cling to your body or fall? Can you show a picture of it on with you bent over say to pick up something?
Beth – it stays put. There’s a video on their site you can watch that shows it better than any picture I could take.
