Sink Baths
I will be so sad when she outgrows baths in the sink. It’s getting close.

I was inspired to make a paper chain backdrop after seeing this awesome dessert table backdrop on Pinterest.
I originally made it for a sweet one year old’s birthday shoot, but after all the work I put into it I decided to use it for Kennedy’s Easter pictures as well.
We all know how to make paper chains. Super easy. Although it was a bit more time consuming than I expected. This backdrop took me 3 hours to make. If you have older kids this would be an awesome project to get their help with. And a paper cutter also is super helpful!
I strung my paper chains on my backdrop stand in my studio, but you could easily attach them to the ceiling or even tape or pin them to a wall.
Overall, a super easy project and I love the outcome!
Brayden has been patiently waiting to color Easter eggs for over a month. To say he was excited was an understatement.
Kennedy was excited too.
Don’t tell my husband, but I’ve been cheating on him. I’ve been sneaking away to go on dates with the handsomest man I’ve ever laid eyes on.
He’s blonde and blue eyed. He’s not as tall as I normally like them, but besides that he’s perfect.
Brayden and I like to sneak away and have “Mommy Brady dates”. No Daddy’s or Kennedy’s allowed. Before Kennedy came along it was always just me and Brayden. We did everything together. Awhile back I saw that my friend Amelia would go on date nights with her boys and I loved that idea. I always kept it in the back of my head.
I try to have a date night once a month. Just to grab a cupcake or ice cream or maybe a movie. But, Brayden loves musicals. And it just so happens I love musicals as well. We have a great local children’s theater in our town so we’ll go see those shows when they are running. Our local high school’s Glee club is also highly rated so we went to see their production of Grease this weekend. He gets SO into it. I love to see him dance in his chair.
I cherish this time with him. I know very soon he’s not going to want to hold my hand or snuggle with me. Or lean over during the middle of the show to tell me how much he loves me. I know these are fleeting moments. So I’m going to steal them whenever I can. I have full intentions of still making him go out on date nights with me even when he’s a teenager, but I realize he may not enjoy it as much
